4th March 2025 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Light winds Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny with light winds Max Speed: Distance Covered: 2.50 miles (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Tuesday 4th March - walk ** – Staverton an Orford – sunny with light winds. Was chuffed to get a pic of Orford Castle on the BBC National weather last night, been a good week for TV photos:) After yesterdays early start we had no plans for today so had a relaxing lay-in, then we have another day of wall to wall sunshine I decide to have a quick drive to the Trimley Churches to take some pics of the lovely daffs looking great against the blue sky and was pleased to get one on today ITV’s About Anglia:) I then get to do my exercises in the sunny back garden along with Mag who is out sorting things including planting loads of seeds and she has the dirt under her finger nails to prove it! As it’s pancake day Mag makes some for lunch and very yummy they were too before we headed out for our daily walk, down to to Felixstowe prom where it was quite hazy and a tad on the chilly side with a onshore breeze. At The Fludyers we turned inland to the town centre before visiting our old frind Mary for a catch – up chat with cuppa and cake! Photo Album here |
